Both born and raised in Pacoima, California, DaJuan Ricks and Charles Nettles sought to better their community and create an environment where children could grow, teachers could stop stressing and parents could let out a sigh of relief. Ricks, being a parent of three, has an experienced understanding of the struggles associated with rising annual school costs, and after to speaking to various parents about the stresses of "Back-To-School" season, The Remedy Hand Foundation was born.
